On the Other Uses of Nutella
Me: We’ve been leaving mice traps in the kitchen but they don’t seem to work. The cheese always disappears but the traps stay empty!
Pest control guy: Cheese?! (laughs) That only works in Disney, love.You got to use Nutella, and you have to smear it all over the trap like butter. The rat needs to put its weight on the trap for it to snap.

Today I attended the third session of a learning and teaching module. The learning expert who was running the module got to the topic of how we can improve the inclusiveness of our classrooms for students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.
He told a roomful of art and design sch staff that “comic sans is the recommended, most readable typeface for dyslexic students”
Couldn’t get to sleep - resorted to watching BBC’s Women In Love.

The genius of my daily morning commute can be pinpointed to the vent hole of this cup lid:
