Design Museum study trip

Went to the Design Museum with our GA students today. We were blessed with a sunny day and clearish skies. “Drawing Fashion” and Brit Insurance Designs of the Year was on and here is what we saw:

This was the Blueware exhibit where they invented a technique using photo-sensitive materials to imprint the humble weeds we find everywhere onto porcelein ware to create these really beautiful tiles!

This is a ultra light-weight electricity powered bicycle that looks like this when folded up:

I think this looks like one of the pods in the Star Wars prequels! I WANT ONE!

An exhibit that allows you to ‘splash’ light paint onto a wall image…
